SelaQui International School organised a two-day model united nation graced by Chief Guest, Mrs Naina Dhillon (Principal Vidya Devi Jindal School-Hisar) who opened the convention with handing over of the gavels.

Students took over as chairpersons of five committees i.e UNCA (United Nations Corresponded Association), UNSC (United Nations Security Council), UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime), DISEC (Disarmament & International Security Committee) and AIPM (All India Political Meet).

The event fostered an atmosphere of collaboration and intellectual exchange, where students could represent various countries and engage in diplomatic discussions to find solutions to complex global problems. The young delegates aimed to promote international cooperation and understanding through rigorous debates, resolutions, and negotiations.

The event marked a significant occasion as it was organised after a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, signifying the resumption of educational activities and the return to in-person events. It saw participation from 14 schools, Welham Boys` School Dehradun, Unison World School Dehradun, Vantage Hall Girls` Residential School Dehradun, Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehradun, Welham Girls` School Dehradun, Pinegrove School Solan, Daly Colege Indore, Ecole Global School Dehradun, DPSG Dehradun, DPSG Palam Vihar Delhi, The Emerald Heights International School Indore and Vantage Hall Girls` Residential School Dehradun and the host school.
