CM Dhami Unveils Ambitious Urban Development Projects
Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated 115 Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, 15,600 new houses under PM Awas Yojana (Urban), and a mass registration drive for street vendors with Angikaar 2.0. He also flagged off 244 solid waste management vehicles.
The Atal Nirmal Nagar Awards 2025 were presented, with Rudrapur, Mussoorie, Lalkuan, and Lansdowne topping their categories.
On youth concerns over a recent exam scandal, Dhami announced a CBI probe, noting that Uttarakhand’s strict anti-cheating law has led to 25,000 jobs and the jailing of 100 cheating mafias in the past four years. “For the interests of youth, I can bow my head and even sacrifice myself,” he said.
These initiatives aim to improve health, housing, sanitation, and urban infrastructure, benefiting citizens and setting Uttarakhand’s urban areas as a model for the country.
