In a display of pageantry and tradition, 372 gentlemen cadets, including 29 from 12 friendly countries, have successfully passed out from the Indian Military Academy. Following the impressive passing out parade, these cadets will be commissioned as officers into the Indian Army and their respective foreign armies.


As the reviewing officer at the passing out parade, Chief of Defence Staff of Sri Lanka, Gen Shavendra Silva, extended his congratulations to the cadets for completing their rigorous training. He wished them the best of luck in all their future endeavors, emphasizing the high level of training reflected in the immaculate parade.

Gen Silva expressed confidence that the newly commissioned officers would serve their respective motherlands with commitment, loyalty, and valor. The event featured a customary piping ceremony, during which the proud parents of the cadets affixed shining brass stars on their shoulders, adding a touch of ceremonial significance to this milestone achievement.
