Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan Addresses IAS Trainees at LBSNAA Mussoorie

Mussoorie,: Vice-President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan on Thursday addressed the valedictory programme of Phase-II training of the 2024-batch IAS Officer Trainees at LBSNAA, Mussoorie.

Congratulating the trainees, he said civil servants are a vital link between government policies and their implementation at the grassroots level. He urged the officers to make “Sevabhav and Kartavyabodh” their guiding principles and ensure inclusive development under the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.

The Vice-President stressed teamwork, integrity and citizen-centric governance, saying true leadership is measured by ethical conduct rather than power or position.

He also encouraged officers to adopt emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, NLP and Blockchain to improve efficiency, transparency and public service delivery.

Noting that around 41% of the 2024 batch are women, he described it as a reflection of Nari Shakti. He urged the officers to keep learning, remain adaptable and work towards empowering citizens across the country.
