Ganesh Joshi Inaugurates CBC’s Har Ghar Tiranga Photo Exhibition in New Tehri
New Tehri: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi inaugurated a special photo exhibition on Har Ghar Tiranga organised by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Dehradun, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, ahead of Independence Day.
The exhibition features ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Partition Horrors’, showcasing the history of the national flag, the freedom movement and the painful legacy of the 1947 Partition.
Speaking on the occasion, Joshi said the Tricolour symbolises the honour and pride of the nation and appealed to citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes on Independence Day.
A Tiranga Rally was also held from Shri Dev Suman Park, with enthusiastic participation from students and local residents. The rally promoted patriotism, national unity and participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
Students who secured top positions in poetry, painting and poster-making competitions organised by CBC were also felicitated.
Meanwhile, the Information Department, Tehri, organised a Partition Horrors exhibition at Pratap Inter College, highlighting the suffering and displacement caused by Partition. Families who migrated to Tehri from Pakistan in 1947 were felicitated by Minister Ganesh Joshi.
