Almora: Ravi Tamta, an innovator from Uttarakhand’s Almora district, is making headlines after successfully testing a self-built electric flying vehicle.

A resident of Kaflikhan village near Jageshwar Dham, Tamta developed HAPIDA SKYNeX through his startup, Hapida Sky Private Limited. The single-seat, all-electric craft uses modified drone technology and is aimed at making personal air mobility more affordable and environmentally sustainable.

Unlike conventional aircraft, HAPIDA SKYNeX runs entirely on electricity and is being developed as a zero-tailpipe-emission alternative for personal transportation.

After the successful demonstration, Tamta shared a video on Instagram offering glimpses of the flying vehicle and its development. He said he had received several calls from people eager to see the innovation.

ANI also shared visuals of Tamta testing the prototype, describing HAPIDA SKYNeX as an all-electric personal air mobility vehicle.

The innovation has since attracted significant attention on social media, with users congratulating Tamta and calling it an inspiring achievement for Uttarakhand and a potential step towards next-generation mobility.
