Uttarakhand’s House of Himalayas Crosses ₹6 Crore in Sales

Dehradun: Uttarakhand’s rural brand House of Himalayas has crossed ₹6 crore in sales since its launch, strengthening the market reach of local products and benefiting rural entrepreneurs.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the brand during the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit in December 2023, giving it national recognition under the vision of “Vocal for Local” and “Local for Global.”

The brand currently offers 83 products, including millets, pulses, spices, honey, oils, herbal products, personal-care items and handicrafts. Around 5,500 women from 55 cluster-level federations are directly benefiting from the initiative.

House of Himalayas products are available through Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart and BigBasket, besides its own D2C website. Selected products are also available in the US and Canada through Amazon Global.
