Uttarakhand STF Arrests Rajasthan Man in ₹1.77 Crore Online Gaming Fraud Case

Dehradun: Uttarakhand STF has arrested a Rajasthan man in connection with a ₹1.77 crore cyber fraud linked to an online gaming website.

The case came to light after a Haridwar resident was allegedly lured through a YouTube advertisement for the Winadda gaming website and promised high returns on small investments. The victim was subsequently cheated of ₹1.77 crore through multiple transactions in 2025.

During the investigation, STF traced around ₹14 lakh of the fraud amount to the accused’s bank account. The account also recorded suspicious transactions worth nearly ₹95 lakh in four months.

The accused, identified as Kishore from Ladnun in Rajasthan’s Didwana-Kuchaman district, was arrested and later sent to jail. STF has advised people to remain cautious of online gaming and investment schemes promising quick profits and report cyber fraud on 1930.
