Dehradun: The Lions Foundation inaugurated a free hospital at Central Hope Town on Kainchiwala Road in Selakui, Dehradun. The facility was jointly inaugurated by Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat and former Lions International President Naresh Aggarwal.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Rawat praised the Lions Club for its humanitarian work across the world and congratulated the team for completing the hospital in less than two years. He assured the Foundation of the state government`s support in expanding its social and healthcare initiatives.

Former Lions International President Naresh Aggarwal said the hospital, whose foundation was laid two years ago, is now ready to serve the public. He thanked all Lions members, especially Rajneesh Goyal, for their contribution and said more medical facilities and equipment would be added soon.

Rajneesh Goyal said four doctors will initially provide daily OPD services, with additional healthcare facilities to be introduced in the coming months.

The event was attended by former Governor Lion J.P. Singh, K.V. Aggarwal, M.S. Jassar, Anita Gupta, M.P.S. Khurana, Sunil Nigam, Giriraj Maheshwari, Chirag Mittal, Sunil Goyal, Purushottam Kumar, along with a large number of Lions Club office-bearers and members.
