Rozgar Mela: 249 Youth Receive Government Job Appointment Letters in Dehradun

Dehradun:A total of 249 candidates received government job appointment letters at the 20th National Rozgar Mela in Dehradun on Saturday. Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta distributed the letters and congratulated the newly recruited youth.

Among the appointees, 121 candidates were selected for the Income Tax Department, 53 for AIIMS, 30 for Indian Railways, 20 for the Department of Posts and 18 for the Defence Accounts Department. Others were appointed to the Survey of India, IIM and Ministry of Home Affairs.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the programme virtually, congratulating the recruits and their families. He encouraged youth to enhance their skills and contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.

The 20th Rozgar Mela was organised at 45 locations nationwide, distributing appointment letters to over 51,000 candidates. With this edition, approximately 12.75 lakh appointment letters have been distributed since the initiative began in 2022.
