ART benefitted 10K couples in Uttarakhand

Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) services are proving to be very successful for childless couples in Uttarakhand. So far, 10,823 couples have availed pregnancy-related treatment from these services available in 37 registered hospitals of the state. This service has spread rapidly due to the effective implementation of ART Act-2021 and 2022 and Surrogacy Act.

According to Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, "The government is trying to ensure that childless couples get maximum benefit from these services." Major ART centers like Indira IVF, Nova IVF, and AIIMS Rishikesh have successfully treated thousands of couples.
