In Uttarakhand, Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has expressed strong displeasure over the delay in the recruitment process for 955 vacant positions of Block Resource Persons (BRP) and Cluster Resource Persons (CRP). He has directed officials to resolve the technical issues in the Prayag Portal and expedite the recruitment process.

During a high-level meeting, the minister emphasized the need for the Education Department to coordinate with the Skill Development and Employment Department to rectify the portal’s shortcomings. He assured that once the issues are resolved, candidates will be appointed within a month based on merit.

Dr. Rawat stated that the recruitment of BRPs and CRPs will strengthen the school monitoring system and relieve hundreds of teachers from administrative duties, allowing them to focus on academics and improving the quality of education.

He further mentioned that the recruitment of 2,500 Group D positions has also been delayed due to issues with the Prayag Portal. The government is working on resolving the problem and will start the recruitment process soon.
