Kasiga-A and Scindia School Enter Finals of 8th PC Batta Cricket Tournament
Dehradun: The semi-finals of the 8th All India PC Batta Memorial Inter-School Cricket Tournament, held at Kasiga School Cricket Ground, witnessed two competitive matches as Kasiga School-A and The Scindia School secured their spots in the final.
In the first semi-final, Kasiga School-A defeated Welham Boys’ School by 40 runs. Batting first, Kasiga-A posted 126/9 in 20 overs, with Ayaan Bhatia scoring a crucial 40. Welham Boys were bowled out for 86 in 17.4 overs, with Rishab Dagar starring with an impressive 4/15.
In the second semi-final, The Scindia School registered a convincing 6-wicket win over BK Birla School. BK Birla were restricted to 75 all out in 16.4 overs. Scindia chased down the target comfortably, reaching 77/4 in 12.3 overs. Arjun Kothari led the bowling effort with 3/17, while Harsh Ahuja guided the chase with a composed unbeaten knock.
Kasiga School-A and The Scindia School will now face off in the final, setting up an exciting clash between two strong teams.
