Dehradun: Uttarakhand Cooperation Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has directed officials to establish Credit Cooperative Societies in every district and two in each division to strengthen the cooperative movement and expand access to transparent financial services.

During a departmental review meeting, the minister also ordered all cooperative bank branches and society buildings to adopt a uniform colour and design for a common identity. He instructed officials to complete the registration of cooperative society land and ensure timely implementation of government schemes, early disposal of pending cases, and regular monitoring to improve transparency and accountability.

Dr. Rawat said the government is committed to making the cooperative sector a key driver of economic growth and rural livelihood empowerment in the state.
