Uttarakhand government lifts cap on daily darshan quota at Chardham

Uttarakhand government has lifted quota restrictions on daily darshan at chardham, the day devotees started their pilgrimage. However, compulsory online and offline registration will remain in force.

The decision taken by the state government has cleared the confusion among visiting devotees due to ceiling restrictions imposed earlier on daily darshan at holy shrines of Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.

Due to cap on daily darshan at chardham, the devotees were left in quandary to cordinate and manage hotel, taxi and helicopter bookings to match darshan timings on the designated day.
