To promote entrepreneurship in Uttarakhand, the Uttarakhand Udyami Conclave was organized today in Dehradun, inaugurated by Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi. She emphasized the need to increase women`s participation in the workforce and appreciated the progress of the MSME sector.

The Chief Secretary highlighted the grounding of ₹90,000 crore worth of projects under the Global Investors Summit and described Uttarakhand’s Strategic Investment Plan as a benchmark. She also praised the U-Hub Investor Mitra and Transport Subsidy initiatives by the Industry Department.

Uttarakhand has achieved the status of "Top Achiever" in Ease of Doing Business, is ranked "Leader" in Startup Rankings, and holds the first position among Himalayan states in exports.

At the conclave, winners of the Startup Grand Challenge were honored, and the ₹100 crore World Bank-funded "RAMP Scheme" was launched. Additionally, the RAMP Portal, Export Portal, and a booklet on PM Gati Shakti were unveiled.

Setu Commission Advisor Shri Hanumant Rawat highlighted how Uttarakhand’s geographical advantages can enhance the competitiveness of small industries. This conclave has opened new doors of opportunity for startups, MSMEs, and investors, paving the way for Uttarakhand`s industrial growth.
