Uttarakhand Govt Sanctions ₹986 Crore for Statewide Development Works

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved development projects worth ₹986 crore across Uttarakhand, including works related to buildings, roads, bridges, irrigation, education, and urban development.

Major approvals include ₹697.25 crore for panchayats and urban bodies under the 5th State Finance Commission, ₹52.81 crore for NABARD-funded irrigation schemes, ₹200 crore as the first installment of the ADB-backed Transmission & Distribution Program, and ₹2 crore for a central library and mini stadium at Soban Singh Jeena University, Champawat.

The CM said these projects will accelerate balanced development in both rural and urban areas of the state.
