Public Relations Key to Viksit Bharat Vision, Says Governor
Dehradun: PRSI delegation met Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.) and invited him to the 47th All India Public Relations Conference, to be held in Dehradun from 13–15 December.
The Governor said public relations is vital for understanding India’s cultural values and for advancing Viksit Bharat @ 2047. He added that AI and quantum technology have expanded PR’s responsibilities, and stressed the need for responsible, fact-based communication—especially on social media.
PRSI shared that over 300 delegates from across the country will participate, with special sessions on Uttarakhand’s Silver Jubilee and its development journey.
Senior officials including Joint Director Information Dr. Nitin Upadhyay, PRSI Dehradun Chapter President Ravi Bijaraniya, Secretary Anil Sati, Treasurer Suresh Bhatt, and members Sanjay Bhargava and Vaibhav Goyal were present.
