Dehradun: At the Uttarakhand Creators Meet–2025 in Dehradun, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said social media influencers now play a major role in shaping society. He called social media the strongest link between people and the government—“One tweet can bring instant action.”

The CM highlighted the state’s progress in infrastructure, tourism, women empowerment, investment, and digital governance. He said Uttarakhand has doubled its GSDP, expanded heli-connectivity, and grounded over ₹1 lakh crore in investments.

Dhami urged creators to promote positive content about Uttarakhand’s culture, tourism and local products, and to avoid misinformation. He said a new social media policy will be launched next year to give creators more opportunities.

He also reiterated the state’s zero tolerance stance on corruption, with action taken against over 200 officials.
