Tri-level authentication of char dham devotees’ registration this yatra season

Tri-level verification of registered devotees for Char Dham yatra will take place for the first time this season. Veracity of registered devotees will get verified at three levels by allotting wristbands with unique ID/QR codes, hard copies of registration and QR codes authentication through mobile handsets.

Scanner machines will get functional at Badkot for Yamunotri, Hina for Gangotri, Sonprayag for Kedarnath and Pandukeshwar for Badrinath to get registrations verified.

Meanwhile, transport department relaxed fitment of Vehicle Location Tracking Devices on commercial vehicles till May 31 plying on yatra route.
