PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Hathibarkala, No. 1, celebrated its annual sports day with zeal and achievements. Shri Prashant Kumar, Deputy Surveyor General, Survey of India, inaugurated the event, setting the stage aglow with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Mr. Mayank Sharma, the school`s principal, offered encouraging words to the students, igniting their enthusiasm.

The students showcased their athletic prowess in basketball, volleyball, football, relay races, and sprints covering 400 meters, 200 meters, and 100 meters. Young participants from primary classes and Bal Vatika engaged enthusiastically in events like the Jalebi Race and Musical Chairs. The school`s music teacher, Manish Kumar Shah, orchestrated various cultural programs.

Adding a touch of camaraderie, a tug of war between students and teachers, organized by sports teacher Mr. Vaibhav Nautiyal, brought entertainment and satisfaction. The climax of the event saw the chief guest, Shri Prashant Kumar, awarding trophies and medals to the victorious students.

Expressing gratitude and closing the event, Vice-Principal Ms. Sangeeta Khorana delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts that made the annual sports day a resounding success.
