Chief Secretary Radha Raturi led a meeting to oversee final preparations, directing departments like AYUSH, Tourism, Public Works, Culture, and Transport to ensure smooth arrangements for the event.

Describing this as a historic opportunity, she emphasized showcasing Uttarakhand’s achievements in Ayurveda.

The World Ayurveda Congress, established by the World Ayurveda Foundation, promotes Ayurveda globally, with past events held in cities like Pune, Bangalore, and Delhi. The theme for this 10th Congress is “Digital Health,” with expected participation from representatives across India, as well as from Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

She instructed that all key stakeholders, including AYUSH professionals, educational institutions, state and central organizations, medicinal plant sectors, and international delegates, be actively involved. So far, 4,501 delegates have registered for the event, and registrations remain open until November 15.

Arrangements include designating nodal officers, organizing cultural programs, improving roads, and providing special transport for guests.
