CM Dhami Inaugurates Modern Sports Stadium in Khatima

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the ₹1615.62 lakh Van Chetna Kendra Sports Stadium on Thursday, calling it a platform to nurture youth talent. The stadium features courts for basketball, football, volleyball, kabaddi, a hostel, and a multipurpose hall. The Mallakhamb competition for the National Games will be held here.

The CM highlighted efforts to promote sports under PM Modi’s initiatives like ‘Khelo India’ and ‘Fit India.’ He announced the 38th National Games will begin on January 28 with the theme ‘Green Games’ to promote environmental conservation.

Calling Khatima his home, he assured the region’s development and praised Mallakhamb athletes while reaffirming the government’s support for sports.
