In a major crackdown, Dehradun police conducted surprise raids on spa centers across urban and rural areas, leading to inspections of 147 establishments. As a result, 25 spa center operators were fined for violating regulations under the Police Act.

Following the orders of SSP Ajay Singh, multiple police teams carried out sudden inspections throughout the city. During the raids, authorities checked CCTV camera setups, customer maintenance registers, and employee verification documents. All spa operators were strictly warned to maintain proper documentation and operate within legal guidelines.

According to the police, 10 spa centers were fined under Police Act 83, while 15 others faced action under Police Act 81. Officials have confirmed that such inspections will continue regularly, and any irregularities or illegal activities found in spa centers will result in strict legal action.

Dehradun police emphasized that these operations are part of their ongoing efforts to maintain law and order in the city.
