Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the republished edition of "Philosophy and Action of RSS for Hind Swaraj" at the IRDT Auditorium in Dehradun. RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale and ‘Prajna Pravah’ convenor J. Nandakumar were present at the event.

Originally written in 1951 by Catholic priest Father Anthony, the book offers an unbiased study of RSS ideology and structure. CM Dhami said it would help future generations understand the organization’s values and sacrifices.

Major Cultural & Legal Reforms

CM Dhami highlighted key initiatives, including making Shrimad Bhagavad Gita lessons mandatory in schools and implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC)—a first in India. He also noted strong action against illegal encroachments, including freeing 7,000+ acres from "land jihad," sealing over 200 unlawful madrasas, and removing 500+ unauthorized structures.

Operation Kaalnemi & Cultural Protection

The CM emphasized strict action against fake religious preachers under Operation Kaalnemi, stating Uttarakhand won’t tolerate those who insult Sanatan Dharma.

RSS’s Role & India’s Cultural Renaissance

He praised RSS for its century-long service in reviving India’s cultural pride and unity. Under PM Modi’s leadership, he said, India is witnessing a cultural awakening, with historic reforms like the abrogation of Article 370 and the end of triple talaq moving the country toward the vision of One India, Great India.

He concluded by reaffirming the state’s commitment to preserving Uttarakhand’s cultural identity with unwavering resolve.
