NABARD Projects Under Review as State Eyes ₹1,200 Cr Goal

Dehradun: Chief Secretary Shri Anand Bardhan chaired a high-level meeting on Friday to review NABARD-funded projects under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF).

He instructed departments to submit utilization certificates promptly and expedite fund withdrawal to help raise the state’s NABARD allocation to ₹1,200 crore in the coming years.

Departments were also told to submit proposals by the end of August and to monitor slow-moving projects more closely. Bardhan urged NABARD and departments to explore funding options for chain link fencing and new rural infrastructure initiatives.

He also directed NABARD to fix portal issues swiftly to enable timely project updates.
