Air India Express Launches Direct Dehradun–Bengaluru Service

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated Air India Express’s direct flight service between Dehradun and Bengaluru at Jolly Grant Airport. He termed it a historic step towards expanding air connectivity in the state.

With this launch, Air India Express has begun its operations from Uttarakhand, offering daily direct flights to Bengaluru along with convenient one-stop connectivity to 18 other cities.

The Chief Minister said the service will greatly benefit youths, IT professionals, students, and tourists. He added that the state government is working to further strengthen air connectivity, with expansion of Pantnagar and Jolly Grant airports and revival of regional airstrips.

The first flight departed on Monday evening. Member of Parliament Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah, MLA Brij Bhushan Gairola, and senior officials of Air India Express were present on the occasion.
