NABARD Projects ₹65,916 Cr Credit Potential for Uttarakhand in 2026–27
Dehradun: At the Sahkarita Mela 2025, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami released the State Focus Paper 2026–27 prepared by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
The document projects a priority sector credit potential of ₹65,916 crore for 2026–27, marking a 20.5% increase over the previous year. Based on district-level Potential Linked Credit Plans, it outlines a roadmap for balanced agricultural and rural development, focusing on agriculture, MSMEs, infrastructure and climate initiatives.
NABARD reiterated its commitment to support the Uttarakhand government in credit planning and inclusive growth. The paper will serve as a key reference for banks and policymakers while finalising the Annual Credit Plan, with the Chief Minister urging departments to align their development strategies accordingly.
