High-Level Meeting on Uttarakhand Investors Summit MoUs
Dehradun: The Uttrakhand Govt chaired a high-level meeting to review the progress of MoUs signed under the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit. It was informed that out of 1,779 MoUs worth ₹3.57 lakh crore, projects worth ₹1.06 lakh crore have already been grounded.
The Chief Minister termed this a major achievement for the state’s industrial and economic growth and directed departments to remove obstacles, appoint nodal officers for monitoring, and ensure speedy implementation of projects.
He also instructed officials to promote investment in tourism and hospitality sectors, especially in Pithoragarh and Kainchi Dham, and to hold monthly “Udyog Mitra Samiti” meetings in all districts. Priority was given to spiritual zone development, temple infrastructure at Bhararisain, and the establishment of an Ayurveda AIIMS and research centers.
