Dehradun: Uttarakhand Police has been conferred the prestigious “President’s Police Colour,” marking a major milestone for the state. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami termed it a “golden chapter” and congratulated DGP Deepam Seth and all personnel.

He said the honour places Uttarakhand Police among elite forces recognized for excellence in law and order, disaster management, crime control, and modern policing. He highlighted their key role during the Kedarnath disaster, Kumbh Mela, and Char Dham Yatra.

CM Dhami added that the award reflects years of dedication, bravery, and service, and will inspire higher standards. Receiving it during the state’s Silver Jubilee year makes the achievement even more special.

DGP Deepam Seth called it a proud moment, crediting the commitment of personnel and their families.
