Char Dham Yatra 2026 to Be Safer, Cleaner and Tech-Driven: CM Dhami

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced a strict and comprehensive plan to ensure a safe, clean, and well-managed Char Dham Yatra 2026. He emphasized that pilgrims’ safety and convenience are the administration’s top priority.

The government will expand the Green & Clean Yatra, enforce a complete plastic ban, and take strict action against fake news. Digital monitoring, slot-based darshan, CCTV and AI surveillance will be used for crowd control.

Strict SOPs for heli services, mandatory rate lists, better healthcare, water, toilets, and shelters, and a robust traffic plan with alternate routes have been directed.

SDRF-NDRF teams will remain on alert, with 24×7 control rooms and helplines to ensure quick response during emergencies.
