Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami emphasized that electricity corporations must actively collaborate to make Uttarakhand an energy-rich state. The government is continuously working in the fields of energy and alternative energy, with a goal to meet the state’s energy demands in the next five years. The Chief Minister also instructed PTCUL officials to expedite the work on five new substations, whose foundation was laid in September 2024.

PTCUL Managing Director, Mr. P.C. Dhyani, stated that under the Chief Minister`s guidance, the corporation achieved a profit of ₹141.67 crore in the financial year 2023-24, compared to ₹26.99 crore in 2022-23. Over the past three years, PTCUL has provided an annual dividend of ₹5 crore to the state government. Currently, PTCUL`s transmission availability stands at 99.70%, exceeding the national standard of 98%.

Present at the event were Additional Secretary Mr. Manmohan Mainali, PTCUL Director Mr. G.S. Badiyal, and officials Mr. Arun Sabharwal, Mr. Manoj Kumar, Mrs. Shalu Jain, and Mr. Pankaj Kumar.
