The state government has approved ₹74.20 lakh for the repair of the 22 km trekking route from Sarnol to Sarutal, including the construction of rain shelters and camping sheds. Of this, ₹40 lakh has been released in the current financial year. The Secretary of Tourism has directed that the work be completed by March 31, 2025.

BJP State Media In-Charge Manveer Singh Chauhan expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, stating that the route, declared the "Track of the Year," will boost employment and promote tourism in the region.

Surrounded by natural beauty and lush meadows, the trek is expected to attract tourists, benefiting local homestays, hotels, and businesses. The long-standing efforts of the Sarnol-Sutudi-Sarutal Development Committee have now borne fruit with this initiative.
