Allegations of medal fixing in Taekwondo at the National Games have stirred controversy in the sports world. Following the action taken by the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), the Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) has dismissed the allegations as baseless and has written to the IOA requesting a detailed investigation.

TFI Vice President Santosh Kumar Mohanty stated, "Medal fixing is not possible as competition venues are under high-definition camera surveillance and follow a strict selection process." Meanwhile, sources from the Sports Directorate believe that if the allegations hold any truth, they should be revealed as soon as possible.

Removed Taekwondo Competition Director (DOC) T. Praveen Kumar responded, "There is no evidence against me—no documents, no video recordings, and no conversations with any officials or athletes. This action has been extremely distressing for me and my family."

The dispute between two Taekwondo organizations has now reached the courts, and the case is being investigated from multiple angles. The IOA is expected to release a detailed report soon, which will reveal the truth behind the allegations.
