Dehradun: The Delhi–Dehradun Economic Corridor is emerging as a key driver of Uttarakhand’s development, significantly improving connectivity and supporting digital growth in the state.

During the “India Digital Empowerment Meet and Award,” experts from across the country highlighted the corridor’s importance, noting that strong infrastructure plays a crucial role in expanding the digital industry.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the expressway on April 14, reducing travel time between Delhi and Dehradun to around 2.5–3 hours. Many participants chose to travel by road instead of flights, reflecting the improved accessibility.

Officials, including IT Minister Pradeep Batra, emphasized that under Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the state is rapidly advancing in digital development, with enhanced connectivity expected to attract more investment and innovation.
