President Droupadi Murmu will lay the foundation stone for an ultra-modern public park at Rashtrapati Ashiana, Dehradun, on June 20, 2025. The project aims to enhance public engagement, fitness, and environmental conservation.

The 132-acre park will feature multi-activity zones, world-class sports facilities, cycling, walking, and jogging tracks, a dedicated children`s play area, and a scenic forest-nature trail, offering a vibrant space for recreation, fitness, and environmental conservation.

A Detailed Project Report (DPR) is being finalized to ensure sustainable infrastructure, with officials directed to complete electricity, security, and parking on schedule.

On the same day, the 21-acre Rashtrapati Ashiana complex will open, offering a visitor center, horse riding, an amphitheater, a café, and a souvenir store.

At a high-level meeting, Additional Secretary Dr. Rajesh Gupta emphasized the project’s timely completion, making Rashtrapati Ashiana a cultural and recreational landmark in Dehradun.
