Dehradun: SelaQui International School successfully hosted its first-ever SelaQuill Lit-Fest 2025, a two-day literary extravaganza held on August 1st and 2nd, bringing together students from top schools for a celebration of literature, creativity, and culture.

The event opened with an inspiring keynote address by noted social worker Mr. Anurag Chauhan, who spoke on youth empowerment and the role of literature in shaping society. The day featured an English debate, Hindi and English quizzes, slam poetry, and a unique shadow puppetry workshop, all while a buzzing book fair kept literary enthusiasm alive.

Day two began with a colourful costume parade featuring literary characters, followed by poster-making competitions in French and Spanish, and another round of the shadow puppetry workshop. The highlight was a moving Kavya Sammelan, where students presented original poetry.

Students from Wynberg Allen, GRD World School, DPS Vikas Nagar, The Indian Public School, and the host school participated with great zeal. The festival, themed "Identity and Self-Realisation", encouraged artistic expression and cultural exchange.

All participants were appreciated, and Wynberg Allen School emerged as the overall winner. SelaQuill Lit-Fest 2025 proved to be a joyful, enriching experience—and the beginning of a promising new tradition.
