Dehradun: Artists who made significant contributions to Uttarakhand’s regional cinema and music in 2024 will be honoured at the Young Uttarakhand Cine Awards 2025.

Film Categories
Awards will be presented in 9 categories under feature films, including Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Villain, Best Supporting Actor/Actress, Best Director, Best Story, Best Film, and Best Cinematographer.

Music Categories
In the music video category, 7 awards will be given: Best Male Singer, Best Female Singer, Best Lyricist, Best Music Composer, Best Video Director, Best Music Production House, and Best Cinematographer.

Nominations & Special Honours
The nominated artists in each category will be officially announced during a press conference. The first phase of the nomination process is complete, with the top 4–5 nominations selected in each category by the film and music jury.

Additionally, veteran theatre and character artist Mrs. Manju Bahuguna will be honoured with the Young Uttarakhand Lifetime Achievement Award, and renowned folk singer and lyricist Mr. Gambheer Darmij will receive the Gopal Babu Goswami Legendary Singer Award.

Government Support
The event is being organised with special support from the Department of Tourism and the Uttarakhand Film Development Council, Government of Uttarakhand.
