Doon University Hosts 24th Global Social Science Conference

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the 24th International Conference of the Indian Association of Social Science Institutions at Doon University. The conference will feature discussions on key topics such as social welfare, economics, employment, industry, agriculture, technology, environment, and urbanization.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, numerous welfare schemes have benefited millions of citizens. The state government has adopted a three-tiered and nine-point policy to ensure social justice and sustainable development. Collaborations with Tata Trust, NASSCOM, and Wadhwani Foundation are providing opportunities to youth in areas such as water management, skill development, and innovation.

Dhami added that these initiatives aim to establish Uttarakhand as a model state for sustainable development.
