Dehradun: Students studying in government polytechnics and other technical institutions across Uttarakhand will now receive training in Artificial Intelligence (AI), coding, and prompt engineering alongside their regular curriculum. For this, the Technical Education Department has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kodyogi Foundation and Computer and Learn Foundation.

Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony, Technical Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said the initiative aims to make technical education more modern and industry-oriented while enhancing students` problem-solving and innovation skills.

Under the programme, students will receive free training in AI and coding through their smartphones in their preferred language. Those who successfully complete the course will also earn two academic credits.

Kodyogi Foundation founder Prashant Chaudhary said the organisation began its journey in Uttarakhand, and several students trained through the programme are now working in multinational companies. He encouraged students to make the most of the learning opportunity.
