Aparajita Sarma, a Bharatanatyam exponent performed at Pm Shree Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hathibarkhla to inculcate students and enlighten them about the basics of classical dance form.
This workshop was an initiative propelled by Routes 2 Roots who aims at reaching out to even the remotest cities to help students inculcate art and culture.
Routes 2 Roots is a non-profit organization that promotes peace and understanding through cultural exchange. Founded in 2004, the organization has worked with over 100 countries to bring people together through music, dance, art, and other forms of cultural expression.
Routes 2 Roots believes that culture is a powerful force for good in the world. When people from different cultures come together to share their stories and experiences, it can break down barriers and build bridges of understanding. This understanding is essential for creating a more peaceful and just the world.
The organization`s work includes: Hosting cultural exchange programs and events, producing educational resources about different cultures, working with schools and community organizations to promote cultural understanding, advocating for policies that support cultural exchange
The workshop was a great success with the help of teachers and principal of the school Mayank Sharma.
