Sameer Karimba, a 41-year-old resident of Palakkad, Kerala, emerged as a Good Samaritan when he rushed to the mishap site in Silkyara, Uttarkashi. The scene was one of helplessness and agony as trapped workers awaited rescue.

Driven by his desire to lend a helping hand in the ongoing rescue operation, Sameer found himself faced with the harsh reality of constraints in technical knowledge.

In a gesture of solidarity, he played a crucial role in organizing bonfires for the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and police personnel deployed at the site.

Sameer Karimba`s story unfolds as that of a seasoned rescuer and mountaineer, someone who has made it a personal mission to extend help to victims of road accidents and natural disasters across different states.

Behind Sameer`s commendable efforts stands a financial supporter and ally, Harsha Koteja, a resident of Mumbai. Harsha not only stands as a pillar of financial assistance for Sameer`s noble pursuits but also played a pivotal role in informing him about the 41 laborers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel at Uttarkashi.
