Uttarakhand police have made preparations to ensure smooth traffic management during the Kanwar yatra at Haridwar and elsewhere. A QR code has been issued to easily provide route and parking information to Kanwar pilgrims. Police teams have been dispatched to various states, where officers are informing Kanwar pilgrims by distributing pamphlets containing QR code details.

Senior Superintendent of Police Pramod Singh Dobal stated that five teams were formed to distribute these pamphlets. The teams are distributing pamphlets in states like Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab.

Dobal mentioned that, similar to last year, this time too, Kanwar pilgrims will be able to access route and parking information from the digital page of the Kanwar fair by scanning the QR code.
