Five districts in Kumaon region to get benefits under Poultry Valley Scheme
Poultry Valley Scheme, promoted under State Consolidated Development Project, will be rolled out in five districts of Kumaon region of Uttarakhand with a target to help two thousand beneficiaries in the current financial year.
Poultry Valley scheme is jointly promoted by animal husbandry and cooperative departments of the Uttarakhand government. In the first phase five districts of Dehradun, Pauri, Rudraprayag, Haridwar and Tehri were chosen under the scheme in 2022-23. In the financial year 2023-24 the same scheme has been expanded to Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital, Almora, Bageshwar and Champawat districts of the state.
