Fresh Cooperative Banks appointees handed over Letters

Minister of Cooperation, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, handed over appointment letters to 167 candidates selected through IBPS at a grand ceremony organized on Wednesday at State Cooperative Federation auditorium in Deepnagar, where these candidates will take up their roles in various cooperative banks in districts including Tehri, Haridwar, Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital, Pithoragarh, Almora, Kotdwar, and Chamoli.

Under the selection process, the candidates have been appointed to positions such as Class 3 (Clerk), Class 2 (Junior Assistant), Junior Branch Manager, and Senior Branch Manager. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and happiness as the candidates received their appointment letters. Selected candidate Seema Bisht expressed her pride and joy, stating that it was an honor to receive the appointment letter directly from the Minister and Secretary of Cooperation.

Minister of Cooperation Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat congratulated the selected candidates and said, "This appointment, coming just before the New Year, will bring new beginnings and joy to your lives. Banking is not just an ordinary job but a significant responsibility. Your hard work and dedication have brought you to this milestone."

Secretary of Cooperation Dilip Jawalkar stated that efforts are underway to strengthen Uttarakhand’s banking system to make it the best in the country. He also announced that the process of filling all vacant positions in cooperative and district cooperative banks is ongoing, and appointments to other posts will soon be made. He urged all selected candidates to work with honesty and dedication to promote the cooperative movement.

This event marks a significant step towards strengthening the cooperative banking system in the state and providing employment opportunities to the youth.
