Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has directed the Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam (UPRNN) to issue immediate notices over incomplete and substandard construction of ITI buildings. She also ordered that if payment refund notices are ignored, FIRs should be filed against those responsible.

During an Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) meeting on security works at ITI Narson (Haridwar), she approved a project costing ₹187.30 lakh and instructed Uttarakhand Jal Nigam to ensure quality and timely completion of all works.

The Chief Secretary also emphasized a long-term and holistic approach for construction, including drainage systems and boundary walls. She directed that technical testing be completed within 10 days to begin construction, with a deadline to finish before the next monsoon.

She warned of strict action for negligence, underlining the need for quality and accountability in public projects.
