In Uttarakhand, 1.23 lakh new voters will be added to the voter list. The final publication of the list, prepared based on the eligibility date of January 1, 2025, will take place on January 6. Among these new voters are 58,917 males, 64,322 females, and 11 third-gender individuals.

This task was accomplished through door-to-door campaigns and extensive super-checking under the directives of Chief Electoral Officer Dr. B.V.R.C. Purushottam.

Over the past five years, 11,35,590 new voters have been added, including 5,33,007 males, 6,02,418 females, and 165 third-gender individuals.

Additional Chief Electoral Officer Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande stated that the voter list can now be updated four times a year. Citizens who turn 18 years old can fill out Form-6 to be included in the list.
