In a significant move, the Uttarakhand Health Department has implemented a large-scale administrative reshuffle today. The transfers include officials at the director level, district medical officers (JDs), and several other senior doctors. Health Secretary Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar issued a statement regarding the reshuffle, stating, “These changes have been made to improve the quality of healthcare services in the state. According to sources, the transfer list includes the Chief Health Director, JDs of various districts, and other senior-level doctors. The move is expected to streamline the functioning of government hospitals and strengthen the administrative backbone of the healthcare system.
