Dehradun: The All India Oil Sector Meet, organized by the ONGC Officers Association, was inaugurated by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at ONGC’s Community Hall in Dehradun. The two-day event saw participation from officials and representatives from across the country’s oil and gas sector.

During the inauguration, CM Dhami appreciated ONGC’s significant role in India’s energy self-reliance. He highlighted the efforts being made under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership to promote green energy and alternative fuel sources.

He also shared that Uttarakhand is actively working on various green infrastructure projects, including electric vehicle charging stations, smart parking systems, and eco-friendly initiatives. The state is also the first in India to adopt the concept of Gross Environmental Product (GEP) to measure environmental conservation alongside economic development.

The meet featured discussions on energy security, technological innovation, and global research collaborations. It served as a key platform for shaping future policies and advancing the green energy mission.
