New Delhi: The grand Young Uttarakhand Cine Awards 2025 was held on Saturday at Delhi’s Siri Fort Auditorium. Organized for the 13th time by Young Uttarakhand, the event aims to showcase the state’s art, culture, and regional cinema on a national platform.

The evening began with tributes to the brave soldiers of Operation Sindoor, victims of the recent Uttarkashi disaster, and late artists Ghananand (Ghanna Bhai) and folk singer Jagdish Bakrola. More than 2,000 people attended the ceremony.

Cultural performances by folk artists and strong participation from the diaspora community made the evening memorable. Secretary Anup Dobriyal said, “Our goal is to take Uttarakhand’s regional cinema and music to an international stage. This award not only honors talent but also preserves our cultural heritage.”
